‘Spotlight’ (cert 15) – Wed 29 June in Screen 1 – Performance Hall
Winner of the 2016 Oscar for Best Picture and Best Writing, Original Screenplay as well as the BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay. Focuses on the Boston newspaper that held the Catholic church to account regarding its cover-up of child abuse. Superb ensemble cast – Ruffalo, Tucci, McAdams, Keaton and Schreiber. ‘Room’ (cert 15) – Thurs 7 July in Screen 2 (not wheelchair accessible)
Over 65 booked already (max 84 seat capacity in Screen 2) for this repeat screening, by popular demand, of this moving and life-affirming film. Winner – Brie Larson scooped the Best Actress Oscar for her incredible performance, of a mother who maintains hope against all odds.

There are dedicated and marked mobility car parking spaces outside the Performance Hall – please don’t park in them if you don’t need them. There is a fully accessible WC in the main reception area, just opposite our box office desk.
