Come out tonight for Hollywood Halloween laughs with Cary Grant in our Beckenham studio cinema – under 16s welcome!

Tickets will be available on the door tonight for our classic comedy film ‘Arsenic & Old Lace’ (PG) – tickets £7/£4 concessions. Plus a free short film and film notes.

A famous theatre critic get married in secret and on the eve of his honeymoon (which just happens to be on Halloween) visits his aunts in Brooklyn, NY, only to find that he isn’t the only one with a little secret or two… Crackling scripts and superb performances all round. Golden age Hollywood at its very best, directed by Frank Capra (director of the Christmas classic, ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ with James Stewart.

Cary Grant at his very comic best in this fantastic classic tale, set in New York at Halloween. Grant plays Mortimer Brewster (famous for being a newspaper theatre critic with well-publicised views against marriage) who marries in secret and escapes to his aunts for Halloween, moments before he is due to go off on honeymoon. But he finds it isn’t only he who has a little secret…
