DOUBLE BILL – TWO AMAZING DOCUMENTARIES. We could not secure the rights to ‘Nanook of the North’ in time, so we have substituted it with a very timely brand new documentary ALL parents should watch and which compliments ‘Village at the End of the World’ perfectly.

‘InRealLife'(Beeban Kidron, UK, 2013, 82 mins) asks what exactly is the internet and what is it doing to our children? Taking us on a journey from the bedrooms of British teenagers to the world of Silicon Valley, filmmaker Beeban Kidron suggests that rather than the promise of free and open connectivity, young people are increasingly ensnared in a commercial world.

’VILLAGE AT THE END OF WORLD’ (Sarah Gavron and David Katznelson, Denmark/UK/Greenland, 82mins, 2012, Cert Exempt) A witty, surprising and ultimately feel good portrait of an isolated village of 59 people and 100 sledge dogs, surviving against the odds – beautiful cinematography and engaging subjects.
